Ragging in any form is prohibited and will lead to strict disciplinary action.

Our Commitment

We are dedicated to building an environment where students learn and thrive without intimidation or harassment. Any individual engaging in ragging will face immediate action under institutional rules and applicable laws.

All students must adhere to the Code of Conduct and participate in awareness programs during orientation and throughout the year.

What is “Ragging”?

Ragging refers to any act—spoken, written, or physical—that causes or is likely to cause annoyance, hardship, psychological harm, or fear in a student. This includes teasing, abuse, humiliation, or disruptive behavior that impacts a student’s dignity or safety.

Examples and Prohibited Behaviors
  • Compelling a student to perform humiliating tasks
  • Verbal abuse, bullying, or threats online or offline
  • Forcing attendance at activities under duress
  • Any behavior creating a hostile environment

Penalties for Ragging

Strict disciplinary actions will be imposed on those found guilty, proportional to the severity of the incident.

Suspension from classes and academic privileges

Debarring from examinations or evaluation processes

Withholding results

Debarring from institutional representation

Suspension/expulsion from hostel

Cancellation of admission
